The model shown is a limited run by Johnny Lightning made for the 2008 Australian Diecast Collectors Convention. Production was limited to 2928 pieces. It is an accurate representation of the Beechey Mustang from later in '65- the white 5-spoke wheels being the giveaway as it ran its first six months with white-painted steel wheels. The casting has one big difference to the real thing- those two driving lights in the grille shouldn't be there. Apart from that, it's a marvellous little model, and looks just fine sitting among other famous Australian touring cars.
